Illustration Friday - Polar

This is my friends’ favorite illustration. While working on the polar bear I thought of the way that ice can look almost black. We’re told that snow is white but is it really? It’s just an interesting approach to color that seemed to work here. You can see a close up on my website.

Very cool, er, cold. Maybe hot is a better word for this. Anyway, me likes.

This is a beautiful illustration! I did think it was an otter though because of the dark blue choice. Love your work!

You have a beautiful illustrative style. I always find it challenging working with limited colours so think you've done a great job.

Lovely illustrations Anne. I very much enjoy the soft watercolour effect you're able to achieve (I'm making a huge presumption that your works are digital). Your website is also most satisfying.
